Application of high load-bearing and anti-seepage jelly slurry

The SJSG-3 section of the Shenjiang Railway is located in Guangdong Province and is an important component of the Shenjiang Railway project. This section connects Shenzhen and Jiangmen, with a total length of approximately 116 kilometers. After the completion of the project, it will greatly shorten the spatial and temporal distance between cities in the Pearl River Delta region and promote the development of regional economic integration.

Application Description

In the sealing of the SJSG-3 section of the Shenjiang Railway's "Navigation" shield tunnel, high load-bearing and anti-seepage jelly slurry technology (hereinafter referred to as "jelly slurry") is used to ensure the safety and efficiency of shield construction.

In the initial stage of starting and excavating the shield machine, jelly slurry is precisely injected into the gap between the tunnel steel ring and the tunnel ring plate. This process not only ensures the stability of the tunnel portal structure, but also plays a crucial supporting role before synchronous grouting arrives. Through this method, it is possible to effectively reduce the natural settlement phenomenon caused by construction disturbance in the weak strata above, thereby providing a solid foundation for the smooth advancement of the shield machine.

In addition, the use of jelly slurry strictly controls the settlement during the shield tunneling process, which is of great significance for assisting in the management of later settlement. By reducing the frictional force between the soil and the shield shell during contact, the problem of excessive thrust caused by geological constraints has been successfully reduced, thereby reducing the demand for shield machine propulsion force. At the same time, the excellent water resistance and bearing capacity of jelly slurry significantly reduce the impact of land disturbance and groundwater on settlement, ensuring the stability and safety of the entire construction process< br />
