BSP 70 is a bentonite-slurry additive. To meet various working condition requirements, BSP70 can be blended with sodium-based bentonite to formulate Jello-Mud. Compared to traditional bentonite, Jello-Mud when formulated with BSP 70 has stronger bearing capacity, thixotropic, and stabilizing effect. It is not prone to loss.
BSP 70 is recommended to be stirred into pre-mixed bentonite slurry to achieve the best result.

BSP 70 As a polymer, it is primarily used with bentonite slurry to prepare Jello-Mud. It is applied to fill the gaps around the shield body. It can effectively prevent and control settlement during the excavation process. Additionally, it provides lubrication effect, thus reduces friction between the stratum and the shield shell.
BSP 70 formulated Jello-Mud when prepared in combination with soft soil can be used for gap filling which assists in the adjustment of the shield’s position.
BSP 70 formulated Jello-Mud can be used for maintaining pressure in EPB Machines’ chamber after a long shutdown time.
BSP 70 For slurry shield tunnelling, BSP 70 formulated Jello-Mud can be injected around the shield to prevent the ingress of slurry from the chamber and surrounding ground water from entering the shield tail.
